Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using STARKO, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.
The Game
STARKO is a free-to-play trivia game. Core gameplay is available without payment. Optional one-time purchases (not subscriptions) are available through our in-game shop for items such as extra lives, power-up charges, and convenience features. Optional rewarded video ads may be shown if you choose to watch one in exchange for an extra life — no ads are shown without your explicit choice.
Accounts
You may play up to 3 trial questions without an account. To save progress, you must create an account using a valid email address. Each person may maintain only one account. Account sharing, selling, or transferring is prohibited. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Purchases
All purchases are processed securely through Stripe. Purchases are one-time (no recurring charges). Prices include applicable taxes (EU VAT collected via Stripe Tax). Refunds follow Stripe's standard refund policy. Consumable items (stars, lives, power-up charges) that have been used cannot be reversed upon refund.
Fair Play
STARKO uses automated anti-cheat systems to ensure fair play. Prohibited behavior includes: using bots or automation, exploiting bugs or glitches, manipulating game data or network requests, creating multiple accounts to gain advantages, and any form of cheating. Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination.
Intellectual Property
The STARKO name, logo, game design, question content, and visual assets are the property of STARKO and its creators. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any STARKO content without prior written permission. User-generated share cards are licensed for personal, non-commercial use.
Limitation of Liability
STARKO is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the game. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for in-game purchases in the 12 months prior to the claim.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lisbon, Portugal. For users in the European Union, this does not affect your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
